Shifting from High-Flux HD to HighVolumeHDF

Despite the need to improve survival rates of dialysis patients and the acknowledged survival
benefit that HDF offers, there is limited utilization of HDF in some countries. In this presentation, a
value-based case for HDF from the patient, provider, and payor perspectives will be presented
and potential barriers to greater utilization of HDF will be considered.
