Description
This replay of a recorded in-depth module, presented by Dr. Roger Rodby, Professor of Medicine Division of Nephrology Rush Univ Medical Center, Chicago, IL, offers a detailed exploration of Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy (CKRT).
You will learn about:
- differentiating between various CKRT modalities, such as continuous venovenous hemofiltration (CVVH), continuous venovenous hemodialysis (CVVHD), and continuous venovenous hemodiafiltration (CVVHDF)
- factors influencing the timing of CKRT initiation and the duration of therapy, supported by the latest research and clinical guidelines
- how to assess these factors in the context of individual patient needs and clinical scenarios, enhancing their ability to make evidence-based decisions in CKRT management
