Online Generation of Sterile Fluid for Hemodiafiltration

This course describes the history and practical advantages of on-line fluid generation. The technical requirements that are needed to produce various qualities of fluid on-line are then discussed followed by a review of the safety and efficacy of on-line generated fluids. Finally, saline and substitution fluid are compared, and potential prescription changes associated with the use of on-line generated fluids are described.
